Immerse into the nature, with a beautiful castle overlooking a park and the lake, in a sustainable environment, with an excellent choice of electronic music in various forms. This and much more is what you should expect by Paradise City Festival on the 23rd -24th – 25th of June. Situated just few minutes drive from Brussels, you will leave behind the pressure of city life, to go on a journey into nature, history and music.

Belgium hosts an impressive number of festivals, some of them are legendary, others more intimate, but this country has become a benchmark in terms of music events. Given the often wobbly weather forecasts, open air festivals might encounter some weather related difficulties, as for example the rain that fell heavily for a few minutes last year at Paradise. Still, thanks to the perfect organisation, the exciting line ups and the advantage of being practically at the centre of Europe, partying in Belgium is a must for any music lover.

It is not just the organisation though, that makes partying in Belgium so special, but the atmosphere. Music culture seems to be just transmitted naturally from one generation to the next one. The feeling of inclusion as if you were part of a family for a few hours, makes Belgium different from other places. Paradise City is no exception, creating a relaxed atmosphere with like-minded people.

Paradise City will be a lovely trip through different nuances of house, deep and melodic techno, from big international names, to new emerging talents, with an accurate scouting all around the world in order to offer something different from the usual.

It would be pointless to start with a list of names, you can check the line up yourself, but we still want to point out a few names.

We are particularly excited to see Indian Wells, an emerging Italian artist with an interesting smooth and delicate deep sound, elegantly touched by melodic and exotic reminiscences. Indian Wells just published a single, Racquets, and is about to launch his album in September on the Los Angeles based label Friends of Friends.

Giorgia Angiuli is Italian as well, a live performer who makes people dance using unusual instruments, keyboards and drum machines but also baby toys and kid guitars or puppies. It is definitely something we do not see very often, but we are very much looking forward to be driven by her unique atmosphere in a few days.

Last but not least in this shortlist is the fittest DJ and producer around, the Berlin based Canadian Bwana. When he is not busy lifting in the gym or offering fitness lessons to fellow DJs, he produces very interesting music and tours around the world. While his origins are deeply rooted into garage and dubstep, more recently he turned towards a balanced blend made of progressive and deep house, electro influences and melodic techno, which we cannot wait to experience.
