“When I actually got there I was completely blown away by how good it was with the sound and also the vibe, the location, everything was incredible” these are the words used by Adam Beyer to describe last year edition of Junction 2, which was the first one. When you get everything right the first time, the expectation for the second round are usually quite high.
That might be the reason why the guys behind this new concept festival decided to build up a crazy techno line up, partnering with different international players such as Drumcode and Sonus, but also more local ones like The Hydra, Into The Woods and LWE, and to set it up in an unusual but exciting scenario.
The festival will run across five different stages placed at the crossroads of nature and industry, within the relaxing atmospheres of Boston Manor Park, while having the M4 running overhead.
Junction 2 will explore the different nuances of techno, with legendary names coupled to emerging new artists. The Drumcode and Sonus stage will bring the sounds of Adam Beyer and Ben Clock, Tale of Us and Maceo Plex, and many more.
Into The Woods will focus on some of London’s best emerging grass roots names, having built a reputation in the city for unique parties in unexpected locations. If that was not enough, the Warehouse stage will see Chris Liebing with his industrial touch, Alan Fitzpatrick and Rødhåd. Two live sets are also on the menu, with Recondite and Planetary Assault Systems experimenting on stage.
Last year’s event was marked by the high standard of production, with top class sound systems, smooth organisation, thrilling video and light projections and a vast choice of food, craft beers, barbecue and much more.
Thanks to the experience taken from the first edition, this year is expected to be even better, and Clubber Confession will be there to tell you the story.
We will participate to Junction 2, trying to give you the best review afterwards, but you are still on time to find tickets on their website.
