Music festivals are most of the time good. Music festivals in Amsterdam are usually great. When a music festival is in Amsterdam, just before the Christmas holidays, and already had five spectacular editions in the recent past, you can be sure that it will be a success.
This is the case of Valhalla Festival, on Saturday December 17th, in the beautiful RAI Amsterdam, a venue able to enrich any event with the perfect infrastructure, its services and the smoothest of the organisations. This year they have also solved some issues from Valhalla Festival’s past edition, when they had reconstruction works going on, and they created a new hall which will be used for the Moulin Rouge area.
Valhalla Festival is not just a simple festival, but it’s more of a trip into the unexpected. A bizarre ride as they call it.
The machine is well oiled, since the same people (more or less) are also behind other successful festivals in the Netherlands, but this case is quite unique. The music will be distributed into six stages, with different blending of electronic music, but a lot will happen in between those stages.
A surreal atmosphere, with what has been described as the biggest circus in the world, will build up a night full of wonders, mysterious masquerades, circus acts, lights and flashes.
All of this will be the background of a massive music experience, with one of the finest line up we have recently seen around. From the more techney sounds of Gaiser and Paco Osuna, to the deep melodies of Edu Imbernon and N’to. From the catchy (and very popular in the Netherlands) East & Young and Girls Love DJs, to the French touch of Agoria and the always safe quality choice of the Dutch Juan Sanchez. There will be space for the hottest tech-house of our days, with the British wave coming from Skream b2b Patrick Topping and Eats Everything, but also for some Dutch hip hop with The Flexican & Sef. These are just a bunch of names, check the full line up here.
If you’d love to start the holiday season with a real bang, you might consider to join Clubber Confession into this bizarre ride. We can assure you will find smiling people, good vibes, top quality music and a surprisingly fascinating atmosphere which you won’t find that easily anywhere else in the world.
