Frankie Knuckles tribute murales rises again

The famous mural in Chicago depicting house legend Frankie Knuckles is being remade ahead of what appears to be a celebratory unveiling later this month. A group of artists had painted the mural on the roof of a Logan Square clothing store—where it could be seen from the adjacent Blue Line elevated train—shortly after Knuckles died at age 59.

Now, as reported by 5 Magazine, the Frankie Knuckles Foundation has settled on a new home for a reproduction of the mural.
